Pete Alvarado 1943 – 2016

Pete P. Alvarado, 73, of Kennedale passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. {{more:[read obituary]}}

 

He was born on April 29, 1943, in Clairemont. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Bell Helicopter for nearly 40 years, before his retirement.

 

Special thanks to Gabriel Lujan for giving our family 11 additional years to cherish Pete.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Magdaleno and Luz Alvarado; five brothers; and one sister.

 

Survivors: Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Luzinda Alvarado and Patty Jones (Jonathan); married for 39 years and mother of his children, Otilia Alvarado; brother, Raymond Alvarado; sister, Josephine Martinez; grandchildren, Brittani, Mikala, Trini Jr., Isaac, Maryssa and Jessica; four great- grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
