Delaney parents are invited to participate in our 2nd Annual Careers on Wheels Day for our PreK through 2nd graders. It will be on held on Friday, October 14, 2016, from 8:30-11:30am.
This year we are presenting careers that utilize vehicles for work. We have some presenters but need a few more who would love come and share their career utilizing any type of vehicle used for their work that would interest the students.
Please let us know what vehicles your department has available and if you or your company, staff, family or friends would be able to partner with us for this event.
We have a local police, fire truck, city water truck, backhoe, riding mower, crane, etc coming. We would like cement trucks, money trucks, postal trucks, food truck, ice cream truck, animal control truck, etc for the kids to see and experience.

The Scholastic Book Fair and AR Pancake Supper & Literacy night are this week.
The book fair will be open daily from 9:00-3:00. On Thursday, it will open from 9:00-3:00 p.m. and from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Parents will not be allowed to take their child out of class during instruction time to attend the book fair. You can take your child during their recess time if you choose to do so.
The AR Pancake Supper & Literacy Night is Thursday, October 6th, from 6-8 p.m. Pre-purchase pancake supper tickets in the front office. Hope to see you there!
