In the first match the Lady Kats played at Springtown HS, the Kats lost 25-13, 25-20, 25-18. Currently Springtown leads the district at 20-6, 6-0. Kennedale follows at 17-18, 5-1.
In MaxPreps 4A rankings, Springtown is #8 while Kennedale is #12.
The varsity game is set to begin at 6pm in the Wildcat Den at Kennedale High School, Tuesday evening.
Kennedale closed out round 1 with a 3-0 victory over Lake Worth, playing at home winning 25-12, 25-22 and 25-13.
