41+ voting sites to choose from ?
All though registered voters have only one vote to cast and can vote only one time, there are at least 41 different voting sites to cast that one vote in Tarrant County. A registered voter do not have to vote in their home precinct during this early voting period.Early voting sites in the immediate area includes the Kennedale Community Center at 316 W 3rd Street; Mansfield Sub-Courthouse at 1100 E Broad Street; Forest Hill Civic and Convention Center at 6901 Wichita Street; South Service Center at 1100 SW Green Oaks Boulevard just east of S Cooper Street in Arlington and Griffin Sub-Courthouse at 3212 Miller Street in Fort Worth. Election day is Tuesday, November 8th and if have waited to vote on that day, you must vote in your assigned precinct site. On that day, elections polling places are open from 7 am to 7 pm. ElectionDay Voting Information
Have a picture ID ?
Whether or not you have your voter card, you still must have a picture ID. Here is a list of the acceptable forms of photo ID:
- Texas driver license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
- Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS
- Texas personal identification card issued by DPS
- Texas license to carry a handgun issued by DPS
- United States military identification card containing the person?s photograph
- United States citizenship certificate containing the person?s photograph
- United States passport
With the exception of the U.S. citizenship certificate, the identification must be current or have expired no more than 4 years before being presented for voter qualification at the polling place. Acceptable Voter Indentification options

Wish you could vote now but never registered? Use this motivation and go register and make sure you are heard next time.
How? Go by a U.S. Post Office, any city hall including Kennedale, Mansfield and Arlington, any public library including Kennedale or any sub-court house and pick up an application or download one online (see below). Completed applications must be returned or clearly postmarked by the 30th day before any election in which you desire to vote. Next year is an off-year election year but there will still be local elections including school board and city council elections. Register to vote
