Incident Reports:
10/24 – Theft – $750 to $2500 – 1100 block W. Kennedale Parkway: At 11:30 a.m. an officer responded to a theft. A business owner stated that his manager had failed to deposit business funds into the bank on two separate days earlier in the week. When contacted at home, the manager stated that she had forgotten due to a personal issue and would bring the money back in to the owner for deposit. The manager did not return the funds or show up to work again.
10/24 – Criminal Mischief $100 to $750 – 1200 block W. Kennedale Parkway: At 1:57 p.m. an on-duty Arlington police officer reported that person(s) unknown cut a tire on his police unit. The unit was parked at a convenience store while the officer was inside getting a drink.
10/24 – Theft $100 to $750 – 300 block Spring Branch Lane: At 7:53 p.m. a victim reported that her son?s bicycle was taken from the property by person(s) unknown. The bike was not secured and was valued at $220.00. The theft occurred during the daytime hours.
10/28 – Recovered Stolen Vehicle (other agency) – 500 block North Road: At On this date, officers responded to the location for two truant males. One of the males, age 16, was located in the residence and taken into custody but denied knowing where the other male was. While at the resident the officers checked a license plate on a 2008 Ford 4 door which later showed to be stolen out of Arlington. The male denied any knowledge of the vehicle until the owner arrived. A back pack and property inside the vehicle did not belong to the vehicle owner and was found to belong to the juvenile in custody. At that time he admitted to finding the keys to the Ford while burglarizing the vehicle owner?s other car. The juvenile admitted driving the vehicle to the residence. The keys were not in the vehicle but were in the possession of the missing juvenile. Also found in the stolen Ford was an electronic tablet and a pair of sunglasses. The tablet and glasses were traced to an owner in Arlington who, when contacted, stated that the items were taken from his vehicle in a burglary that had not yet been reported.
