Digital Citzenship Week …

Earlier this fall students at KJHS were learning about how to protect themselves, friends and families online. The program is called Digital Citizenship and has been used by the junior high before.

Technology can be a very powerful and useful tool, but it is also important for children to learn about their Digital Footprints, and learn how to stay safe online. The Junior High hopes to encourage conversations at home regarding students? digital lives.

“Common Sense Media promotes technology use for learning, fun, and bringing people together, but also sees a need to balance media and tech with undistracted face-to-face time. There are still times when it’s good to focus just on the people in front of you.”
