Incident Reports …11/8 – Fraud Use/
Possession of Identifying Info Items – Kevin Miller Road: At 3:35
p.m. an officer received a report of identity theft. A victim reported that an
unknown person has obtained her bank account number and had attempted to access
the account to make two large withdrawals. The withdrawals were stopped before
being completed. The victim provided the name and account information of an
individual that the money was intended for. The intended account was overseas.
11/10 – Possession Drug Paraphernalia – North
Road: At 4:12 p.m. officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.
One of the involved parties was leaving as officers arrived and was detained
while still in his vehicle. It was determined that no offense had occurred but
the male driver of the vehicle was in possession of narcotics paraphernalia. He
was cited and released.
11/11 – Criminal Mischief $750 to $2500 – 200 block W.
Kennedale Parkway: At 6:36 a.m. officers discovered graffiti sprayed painted on
an electrical panel at Town Center.
11/11 – Duty of Striking Unattended Vehicle – Fawn
Meadow Trail: At 11:06 a.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown had struck
his vehicle during the overnight hours and failed to report it. The victim?s
vehicle was legally parked at the curb in front of the victim?s home. Based on
lens cover evidence left at the scene, it was determined that the suspect
vehicle may be a 2009 BMW. The victim?s vehicle was damaged on the driver side
front bumper and fender.
11/12 – Aggravated
Assault (Family Member) – At 12:33 a.m. officers
responded to a domestic disturbance involving a handgun. On arrival several
persons were in the yard of the home and all were detained in a search for the
weapon. It was later determined that a male and female who lived at the
residence had been in an earlier altercation and the female called several
relatives, who responded to the location. The male suspect/resident began
arguing again and threw an object at the female. The suspect at one point
pulled a .38 revolver from his pants pocket and one of the other males wrestled
it away from him. The suspect was locked inside of the residence and refused to
come outside and meet with officers. The victim went to the hospital for
treatment. Once statements are obtained, a warrant for the suspect?s arrest
will be issued.
11/11 – Harassment
– At 4:55 p.m. a victim reported that her estranged
husband has been leaving threatening messages on her phone. The victim is in
the process of divorcing her husband.
11/11 – Driving
While Intoxicated – 500 block S. Dick Price Road: At 10:27 p.m. an officer
stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver had been drinking
alcoholic beverages and appeared to be under the influence. He was unable to
successfully complete a field sobriety assessment. It was also determined that
just before being stopped the suspect had struck another vehicle in the rear
and fled the scene. The suspect was transported to jail for booking and a blood
alcohol test.
11/12 – Unlawful
Carrying Weapon – 6800 block Oak Crest Drive East: At 7:45 p.m. an officer
stopped a suspicious vehicle. Upon approaching the vehicle the officer observed
a firearm, a Ruger handgun, lying in plain view on the floor. The driver was
removed from the vehicle and was determined to have multiple arrest warrants
issued from Fort Worth. The suspect also had no LTC and was not authorized to
carry a weapon in the vehicle. He was transported to jail for booking.
11/13 ? Criminal Mischief $100 to $750 – 300 block E. Kennedale Parkway: At 5:00 p.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown spray painted graffiti on his building. Damage was estimated at $500.00. The damage was done over the weekend time period.
11/14 – Assault by Contact – At 11:29 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A male and two females were in a loud argument when officers arrived. The male, who was intoxicated, had begun arguing with his wife when she became frightened and struck him in an attempt to get away. The wife?s sister was also present and began arguing with the male. During this argument the sister intentionally struck the male several times in the face. The wife was not charged due to her being in fear for her safety but the sister received a citation for assault by contact. The male was arrested for outstanding warrants from Arlington and Tarrant County. He was transported to jail for booking.
11/15 – Abandoned/Found Property – 300 block N. Dick Price Road: At 10:13 a.m. an officer responded to a report of found property. A homeowner found a woman?s purse and a portable radio on her porch. The items were placed in property for safe keeping.
11/15 – Injury to Child/Elderly/Disable (Bodily Injury) – At 1:42 p.m. a detective was contacted by CPS for a report of child abuse. A 10 year old male victim had returned from a visit to his father?s house with several red marks on him. A report was generated for follow-up.
11/16 – Assault (Bodily Injury) – Magnolia Drive: At 7:54 a.m. a victim reported that her ex-boyfriend had contacted her at home in Arlington about getting some personal property back. She gave the property back but the suspect would not let her leave to take her children to school at Delaney Elementary. She backed out into the yard to get around the suspect?s vehicle and took her children to school. After dropping the children off she noticed the suspect following her in an attempt to get her to pull over. When she stopped, the suspect assaulted her by spraying orange spray paint on her person and on her vehicle. The suspect left before officers arrived. Officers followed the victim home to insure that the suspect was not waiting there.
11/15 – Engage in Organized Criminal Activity – 1400 block Swiney Hiett Road: AT 8:41 p.m. officers responded to a burglary in progress. On arrival, three males were found in a silver Chevrolet truck parked behind a vacant home. The bed of the truck was loaded with power and hand tools. The victim/homeowner representative responded and identified the items. The three males were not authorized to be on the property or to remove items. They were arrested and transported to jail for booking.
11/17 – Forgery – Shady Creek Drive: At 9:14 a.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) wrote several unauthorized checks against her checking account. Payment was stopped on the checks and the account number was changed.
11/19 – Burglary – Spring Branch Lane: At 1:49 a.m. a victim reported that while she was out earlier in the evening, person(s) unknown entered her home and removed cash. The suspect(s) entered by breaking a bedroom window and left through a rear door. A hand print was observed on a glass pane and taken as evidence.
11/19 – Emotionally Disturbed Person – 1200 block W. Kennedale Parkway: At 4:30 a.m. officers responded to a female sleeping behind a business. When officers arrived they found a known female in emotional distress and asking for medical attention. Medics responded for treatment. It was determined that the female suffers from brain trauma due to a past injury and she was transported to JPS Hospital for an emergency mental detention.
11/19 Incident – 1200 block W. Kennedale Parkway: At 11:53 p.m. officers responded to an injured person on a parking lot. A male was found bleeding from a head wound. Witnesses on the scene stated that the male had been in an argument in a vehicle and had assaulted his girlfriend. Two other males then assaulted the victim. During this altercation, while the car was still in motion, the victim jumped from the car at a location in Forest Hill. Medics responded and transported the victim to the hospital. The Tarrant County Sheriff?s Office is investigating the assault.
11/19 – Online Impersonation – Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 9:10 p.m. a victim?s mother reported that a known suspect, a student at the junior high school, is harassing her daughter on-line. The suspect, who resides in Arlington, was making threats of harm toward the victim. A report was made to Arlington Police as well.
11/19 – Criminal Mischief $750 to $2,500 – 100 block Arthur Drive: At 8:47 p.m. a victim reported that a known suspect had damaged his property that he is moving into. The suspect had left property from the victim?s previous residence in the yard, indicating that the suspect had been there first.
