week of December. These reports were in addition to on-going investigations.

Incident Reports …
 

12/12 – Missing Person (Juvenile) – North Road: At 10:08 p.m. a parent reported that her 16 year old son had left the residence with a friend and was refusing to return home. While the officer was taking the report another officer observed the runaway on Kennedale Parkway but could not catch up to him before losing sight. It is unknown where the male is staying.

12/14 – Dog Bite – North Road: At 7:20 p.m. a parent reported that her 17 year old daughter was bitten by a dog located at a known address. Responding officers located the owner who stated that the animal was at a family member?s home in Forest Hill but refused to divulge the address. The owner agreed to have the dog brought back for quarantine the next day.

12/15 – Indecent Exposure – 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 9:40 p.m. an officer responded to a report of a male exposing himself to an adult female. The incident arose from a road rage incident in which the suspect was following the victim?s car but felt she was driving too slowly. The suspect passed the victim, who followed him to his destination and took a photo of his license plate to file a complaint for a dangerous pass in a no passing zone. During this activity, the suspect got out of his vehicle and tried to approach the victim as she was leaving. The suspect then pulled his shorts down to expose his buttocks to the victim as she drove off. The suspect did admit to the offense and was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.

12/15 – Possession Child Pornography – At 9:00 a.m. a school resource officer was asked to investigate a possible possession of child pornography by a student. An underage male was found to be in possession of a self-photo sent by his underage old girlfriend. All parties involved, including parents, were interviewed and cautioned to avoid this activity in future. Because the activity was between two juveniles, no charges were filed at the time of the report.

12/16 – Driving w/ Suspended License – 500 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 6:05 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for multiple traffic violations. The driver, known to the officer from previous contacts, had 23 warrants from three different agencies and was driving on a suspended license. He was arrested and transported to jail for booking.

12/16 – Driving While Intoxicated 2nd – 600 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 9:53 p.m. an officer observed a vehicle stopped in the roadway at an intersection. The male driver was asleep behind the wheel with his foot on the brake and the car in gear. The driver was awakened and removed from the vehicle. He smelled as though he had been drinking rubbing alcohol and a partial bottle was found in the vehicle. The driver refused medical treatment and refused to cooperate in completing a field sobriety assessment. He was transported to jail where a blood draw warrant was obtained. A blood sample was taken by jail medical staff and the suspect was booked in. He has been previously convicted of DWI.

12/16 – Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence) – At 11:20 a.m. officers responded to a domestic assault. A male had assaulted his wife during an argument between the two. The male reportedly has been abusive over the last few years while both have been in declining health. Both the suspect and victim are in their 80s and have health issues. The suspect left to stay with an adult son while another adult child took the wife to be checked out at the hospital. A case will be filed out of custody due to the suspect?s health issues.

12/16 – Injury to Child/ Elderly/ Disabled – Kennedale New Hope Road: At 9:12 p.m. a parent reported that she had taken her 10 year old son to work the day before. One of the company managers was speaking to the mother about business when the child approached him. The adult male/suspect told the child not to touch him and then struck the child, knocking him down. The suspect then left the property.

12/17 – Driving While Intoxicated 2nd – 5100 block of N. Little School Road: At 3:00 p.m. an officer responded to a vehicle accident. An Arlington officer was on scene and stated that the driver of the vehicle had been taken to a local hospital. The driver reportedly had been using an aerosol can to ?huff? the gas and was under the influence when he crashed the car. The driver was interviewed at the hospital and blood was drawn for testing.

12/17 – Burglary – Steeple Chase Trail: At 10:46 a.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown forced open the front door while the occupants were away. A jewelry box containing an unspecified amount of jewelry was removed.
