Friday night the Kats play Castleberry (2-13, 1-4) at Castleberry. Tuesday Kennedale host Diamond Hill (0-18, 0-8) and after a bye the Kats travel to Lake Worth (3-17, 1-5) to end the regular season. All varsity games start at 6:30 p.m. The UIL playoffs begin the following week.
Kennedale is currently #2 in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) Class 4A poll, #2 in the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) poll for Class 4A, #3 in the MaxPreps rankings for Class 4A and #3 in the dfwVarsity All-Area rankings which includes all school in the area regardless of size. MaxPreps also has Kennedale ranked #34 among all schools regardless of size in Texas.
