Currently Kennedale (30-3) and #6 Navasota (31-3) own that honor in Class 4A. There will be others that should reach that mark in the first round or two in the playoffs. All are one of the top 6 (Class 4A) teams per the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches except #18 Gatesville (28-3).
In Class 3A there is one team #13 Franklin (30-1). In Class 5A there are four teams at the 30+ mark: #1 Armarillo (31-1), #6 Boswell (30-3), #10 The Colony and # 8 Kerrville Tivy (29-3) depending on last night?s game. In Class 6A there is only # 1 Duncanville (30-2) and #19 Laredo Alexander (31-1).

Playing at Castleberry, the Kats continued their control of District 7-4A with an 88-16 win over the Lady Lions. The Cats were ahead 33-4 in the first quarter and 56-5 at halftime.

Sydnee Biscoe had a super night when she led all scorers with 26 points. Eighteen of those points coming off 3?s when she went 6 of 7 from outside the circle. She also recorded 4 rebounds, 5 steals and three deflections.
Evie Whorley once again scored over 20 with 21 points along with 10 steals and 5 assist. Also scoring in double figures was Lucy Benson with 11 (7 rebs, 4 asst, 5 stls, 7 defl), Kalyne Daniels 11 (shooting 4-6 from field, 3-3 from line, 8 rebs, 3 stls and 3 defls) and Payton Williams 10 (3-5 three?s).
Other Lady Kats scoring included Jordan Jones 3, Taylor Austin 2, Sydney Johnson and Dajia Simmons 2.
The Lady Kats have one district game remaining against Lake Worth next Tuesday before playoffs begin the follow week.
