Kennedale HS sports continues to roll

 
Last night the Kennedale Wildcat Basketball team captured another district title with a 63-34 over Benbrook High School. For Kennedale High School this is title number 4 for the year. {{more:Read more …}}
 

Kennedale has gone 40-1 in district games played this year to win titles in football (5-0), volleyball (11-1), girls basketball (12-0) and boys basketball (12-0).

 
Game briefs for Tuesday, Feb 14 …
  • Lady Kat Basketball (32-3, 12-0) cruised by Midlothian Heritage in its first round playoff win 61-25. The #2 state ranked Lady Kats have not lost a bi-district game in 15 years. The Kats will play Sweetwater HS at Eastland HS on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in an area round game.
  • Wildcat Basketball (23-10. 12-0) won an undefeated district title beating Benbrook HS 65-34. It is the Wildcats. This is the fifth straight title and 6th undefeated title in the last 14 years. The Cats, ranked #8 in the dfwVarsity area, will open bi-district play next week.
  • LadyKat Soccer is now 3-0 in district play after running by Benbrook 14-0 and scoring 10 in the first half. Overall, the #1 state ranked LadyKat team is 10-0-1 and will play at Castleberry this Friday night.
  • Wildcat Soccer is also 3-0 in district play in one of their best starts beating Benbrook 1-0 last night . Overall the Wildcats have improved their season record to 4-5-2. They will also be playing at Castleberry Friday night.
