The #2 Kennedale Lady Kats basketball swept into Eastland on Friday night and brushed off second round Area opponent Sweetwater 74-40. The Kats move to 33-3 and will face their strongest opponent in their quest for a regional title, the #4 Godley Wildcats, 32-4. LadyKat Soccer …
The #1 Lady Kats soccer team won their 4th straight district game on Friday, downing Castleberry by a score of 3-0. The Kats move to 11-0-1 and 4-0 in district. The Kats will host Diamond Hill Tuesday at 7:30 p.m at Wildcat Stadium. Diamond Hill is currently in second place in District 7-4A.
Wildcat Soccer …
The Wildcat Soccer suffered their first defeat in district play against Castleberry Friday night by a score of 2-1. The Cats were tied with the Lions for first place but move into second place in District 7-4A. Kennedale falls to 4-6-2 and 3-1. Kennedale will host Diamond Hill Tuesday night at 6p.m. in Wildcat Stadium.
Lady Kat Softball …
The #9 Kennedale Lady Kats softball team playing in their first tournament of the season won big in two games yesterday defeating Naaman Forest 12-0 and then dominates RL Turner 9-0. The Kats are now 2-1 for the season after falling 2-1 to Wylie East on Thursday.
Wildcat Basketball …
The Wildcat Basketball team (23-10) idle last night, after wrapping up a perfect district season on Tuesday when they defeated Benbrook 65-34, found out their opponent next week in first round playoff action. The Cats will face the Glen Rose Tigers (13-19) at Granbury High School at 8 pm on Tues Feb. 21.
