Arlington Police are investigating a fatal rollover accident that occurred early Sunday morning in West Arlington. {{more:Read more …}}
At around 1:30 a.m., police officers responded to the accident in the 4000 block of West Green Oaks Boulevard Sunday. Detectives determined that the car was travelling southbound on Green Oaks and struck the center median.
The impact caused the car to roll onto its roof and cross over into the northbound lanes of traffic before coming to a stop. The driver, 26-year-old Aaron Arter [of Kennedale], was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Arter was pronounced dead at the scene.
A portion of the roadway was closed for three hours while investigators examined the scene.
