Josie ?Mollie? Rector went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 29th, 2017. Memorial Service was Thursday, August 3rd, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church in Godley, Texas. {{more: Continue … }}
Mollie was born in Fort Worth, Texas on November 6, 1953. She was primarily raised in Kennedale, Texas and graduated from Kennedale High School in 1971.
She went on to receive her Bachelors Degree of Education in Tennessee. After graduating college, she started her career as a cherished educator in the community of Del Rio, Texas.
In 1991, Mollie would return to this area and would take the next step in her professional career, working for A.C.E. She served this company as a dedicated and faithful employee for over 25 years. Mollie was an invaluable asset to her work environment through her commitment and dedication. She was known to always be willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, as well as always going above and beyond in her own duties and assignments. She will surely be missed by her co-workers and all those she touched throughout her professional life.
Mollie was a beloved member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Godley for many years and she was known and admired for her walk of service. She was a faithful and dedicated member of this church and to its congregation, helping in any way she was asked or called to do. The loss of Mollie to her church family will be felt for years to come.
Mollie?s favorite Bible verse was 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV), ?In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you?. This verse would go on to be a guiding force in how Mollie lived her and how she served others. So much so, there were several people in her life she led to the Lord and that filled her heart with joy.
Mollie is preceded in death by her parents, Leona and James Rector, as well as a sister, Peggy Argroves. She leaves behind her brother, Loyd Cox and his loving wife Christa, as well as many nieces, a nephew, their families and her church family and many friends.
