… Kennedale has never played a 15 game season so even in a loss; the Cats made history and set the bar yet higher for future Cats.
… Kennedale has now won their 5th straight district title and has not lost a district game in five years, an undefeated streak of 25 straight games.
…UIL state-semifinalist Kennedale Wildcats (11-4) were the big winners in the 5-4A All-District football team with 22 selections.
… At season end, four Kennedale Wildcat football players have earn Associated Press Class 4A honors. Two were recognized last year.
… Kennedale can celebrate the year and know that the Cats will be returning 15 starters next year – 8 on offense and 7 on defense. It will be the first time in 3 years that the backfield will be returning.
