Coach Paul Trantham has high expectations for the 2018 season after a successful 2017 campaign. The Wildcats took home the conference title and return a core group of players who have earned a plethora of individual awards. 2017 District MVP RHP/SS Bryce Hackett, First Team All-District RHP/3B Jared Taylor, and two-time All-District 2B/RHP Austin Crabtree will lead the pitching staff in addition to providing their services in the field. OF Aaron Herrera, two-time First Team All-District selection, and 1B Reid Sanez, First Team All-District, will be relied upon to provide the offense in addition to the aforementioned players.
One youngster to keep an eye on is OF JD Pagett, 2017 District Newcomer of the Year. Pagett led the Wildcats in stolen bases last season with 25.?
