Directors, Linda Graddy and Rose Watson (both former KISD educators), have gathered some of Kennedale’s most talented and dedicated citizens to perform and entertain.?First graders to retirees, mothers and sons, daddies and daughters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and community leaders have come together to create this extraordinary performance.

“The Music Man Jr.” follows the story of a small town in Iowa during 1912. A traveling salesman has come to town. Will the stubborn River City townspeople be pulled into his scheme of creating a boys’ band or will he be run out of town on a rail? With a smart librarian, the bumbling mayor and school board, a gaggle of town gossips, lively teenagers, and adorable children, this musical will touch your heart, lift your spirits, and leave you humming a tune.?bring your blanket …??Bring your blanket or lawn chair along with your family and friends to see “The Music Man Jr.” Admission is free, but donations will be appreciated.?You can donate at the performances or support the Community Theatre by mailing a donation to Kennedale Theatre in the Park, P.O. Levels of Support include: Friend – $50 and up; Patron – $100 and up; Spotlight – $250 and up; or Star – $500 and up.?Checks should be made payable to Kennedale Art and Cultural Foundation.
