At FUMC Kennedale, our Holy Kids come from homes that can not afford to pay their way to Bible Retreat in May. I am asking for our community to help us make it possible for them to attend. {{more: continue …}}?We have to fund raise for months to make enough money so that not one kid is left out. We usually take around 20 kids to Glen Lake Camp at Glen Rose TX and pay their way.?It’s a great experience for them. It’s hard to realize, lots of the kids have never got to just roam around outside as they want? So many have never got to fish, or canoe, or wade through the Paluxy River, and then hike to the top of the 80 ft. ridge over looking the camp grounds. Some had never even been in a swimming pool.??
?Let me tell you, none of them are ever ready to leave on Sunday when it’s time to come home, for sure.?God is all around us everywhere we go, but at Glen Lake Camp, He speaks loudly, using no voice or words. The leaders and the kids feel His presence in the breezes through the Live Oak trees and the rushing of the river over the lime stone rocks where the dinosaurs left their feet prints so many years ago. It’s a joy to take the kids and experience God in such a mighty way through nature.?Please mark your calendars to come support the Holy Kids 3rd Annual Spring Vendor Fair March 16 from 10 am – 4 pm.?

Miss Esta and Miss Laurie will be running the ever popular Snack Bar all day with lots of great food for everyone!

We will be serving Miss Laurie’s famous Cobbler!! Peach – Cherry & Apple.?
There is a $2 admission fee.
