Belinda grew up in Wisconsin and moved to this area in the early 1980?s. Upon marriage to the love of her life, Ricardo, in 1992, they settled in South Dakota for a couple of years, then were transferred, due to Ricardo?s Air Force career, to Pennsylvania, California, Puerto Rico, West Virginia and then finally to Kaufman where they continued to make their home with their four daughters. Her greatest love was her family and she was very dedicated to their lives and to them.
Belinda, affectionately known as ?Belis? to her family and ?Boomie? to her friends, was a housewife and homemaker until the last few years when she began substitute teaching for the Crandall ISD. She loved and was loved by all the children. Belinda was also a dedicated music lover since her own school days and was fortunate to be able to continue her love of music with her daughters as they carried on the tradition of playing in the school band. She was an avid member of the Crandall Band Booster club and one of her greatest pleasures was being able to be a ?school mom? and help her daughters in their school activities.
