The following information was provided by Melody McDonald, the Public Information Officer for the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in regards to a court appearance that was held last Friday, January 10, 2014 involving Patrick Brooks. {{more}}
“A status conference is just a routine court setting. Generally, at this setting, meaningful negotiations between both parties are encouraged. It looks like he has another status conference scheduled for February 21. A trial date has not yet been set. He remains in jail, charged with murder, with a bond set at $100,000.”
