Local educators started the outdoor theatre group ??The community theatre was started in 2017 by a group of educators from KISD. Their first production was ?Music Man, Jr? followed by ?Closed for the Holidays.? Last spring the production was Seussical, Jr.?Production numbers are designed to include opportunities to showcase local talent both old and young, experienced and not.?The unique part of their productions is that the performances are outside, under the trees at Kennedale Town Center Park in the heart of Kennedale.?Relies on the generousity of others …??The Kennedale Arts and Cultural Foundation has provided support but donations are also a significant source of support. This past October, the community theatre organized a talent competition billed as ?Kennedale?s Got Talent? as a fund raiser.?Kennedale Community Theatre welcomes even the smallest donation.
