The Kennedale High School Varsity Cheerleader squad has begun their competition season with a top-three finish in their first effort of the year.? {{more: continue …}}

The KHS Varsity Cheerleaders competed this past month at the UCA North Texas Regional Competition in Lewisville. After months of hard work and choreography, Cheer Kennedale finished 3rd in their division.?Their performance also earned the team a bid to compete in the UCA National Championship at Walt Disney World in Florida.?
Kennedale Cheer’s next UCA competition is January 12 in Keller where they are striving to walk away with the championship trophy.

Kennedale does have a reputation to uphold. In 2017, the Kennedale team finished 13th overall in the state and had a 12th place finish at the NCA High School Nationals in the state.

Last year three Wildcat Cheerleaders – Tiara Talor (SR),? Aliviyah Ward (JR) and Jordan Barnett (FR)?- earned the?opportunity to perform as All-Americans with other selected cheetleaders from acoss the county at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.?
