According to the Dallas Morning News, the Kennedale Wildcat football team is on a special streak.

There are 28 teams in the Dallas area. For most, the team that win their district title changes every couple of years if not more frequently. ?Whether it?s every year or a couple, new challengers find their way to the top eventually,? wrote the Morning News.

For example, this year fourteen of the 28 districts in the Dallas area had a new district champion.

For a few select teams, it is another year another title, making it look almost routine. Although it is hardly so simple.

As the Dallas Morning News?put it, ?With teams changing every year, and players limited to a maximum of four years in a high school, that type of dominance is impressive.?

The teams that have made it look routine include Aledo with 12 straight titles, Allen 14, Argyle 11 and Kennedale 8. Two have made 5 straight, Highland Park and Denton Ryan.
