The City

of Kennedale will hold a public hearing on the new city budget

and tax increase this Thursday evening. The Kennedale

City Council regular monthly meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with a work session scheduled at 5:30 p.m. {{more}}

 
All meetings are open to the public and are held at Kennedale City Hall, 405 Municpal Drive, Kennedale, TX 76060. Besides public hearings, each regular scheduled City Council meeting includes a Citizens/Visitors Forum where persons may address the council. (However, no formal action can be taken at this time).
 
Other items on the agenda include
  • proposal to hire Kelley Cooper as interim City Secretary;
  • proposal on the repavement of the Public Works Facility by interlocal agreement with Tarrant County; and,
  • renewing an interlocal agreement with Tarrant County for High Ridge Road/Link Street.
Several items are scheduled for possible discussion in closed session and include:
  • discuss projects at 1298 W Kennedale Parkway;
  • discuss projects at 5409 High Ridge Road;
  • discuss Land Acquisition groundwater storage tanks in the areas of Dick Price Road and Linda Road, and Eden Road/Swiney-Hiett Rd/Mansfield Cardinal Road; and,
  • discuss hiring new City Secretary.
After the closed session the Council will meet back in open session and take action one or more of these items if needed.
