Trey Burke got his first taste of college competition
McMurry University in Abliene, Texas hosted the Bill Libby Invitational (cross country meet) this past weekend. Participating was McMurry freshman Trey Burke (KHS 2017). {{more: Read more … }}
At the meet McMurry?s women team took 4th place in the seven team meet while the men finished in 5th.
Trey Burke (photo 2015-16 ) Trey is a 2017 graduate from Kennedale High School, running cross-country all four years for the Wildcats. He is an exercise science and human performance major (pre-physical therapy). Trey is the son of Chriss and Cheryl Burke, both teachers for KISD.
Lubbock Christian took first place in both divisions while Ranger came in second. Other schools participating were Midwestern State, Hardin-Simmons, Odessa, Western Texas and Schreiner.About the school:McMurray
