Council approves one resolution says no to another

Last month at their regular monthly meeting, the Kennedale City Council decided to move forward on one pending resolution that involved a proposed development at Kennedale Parkway and Sublett while failing to approve another. {{more: continue …}}

Both resolutions called for city support in an effort by the developer secure partial funding for the proposed developments with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA). Neither of the resolutions would commit the City of Kennedale to actual approval of the developments and that possibilty would come later and would include citizen input.

As it stands, one of the developments warranted enough interest by the Kennedale Council to allow to proceed to the next stage.
