Delaney/Arthur Math Students Place in Tarrant Competition

Recently math students at James F. Delaney Elementary and James A. Arthur Intermediate schools participated in Sumdog?s online math competition for grades 1-8.

 

Of all participating schools in Tarrant County, Kennedale Delaney Elementary placed 3rd, {{more}}with two students on the top 50 leaderboard, and Kennedale Arthur Intermediate placed 4th, with one student on the top 50 leaderboard.

 

The challenge involved students competing in free online math games on the Sumdog

Free Games website in competition with other students from across Tarrant County. The contest lasted a week and covered 122 math topics across 10 levels of increasing difficulty.

 

There was a range of over 236,000 questions designed to meet each student?s ability.
