Last fall, the Kennedale Police Department participated in the DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.? {{more: continue …}}?This is a program that aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.?Kennedale officers collected 45 pounds of unused or expired medication, and the DEA Dallas Field Division (North Texas and Oklahoma) collected more than 37,000 pounds in total.?The next event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020.
