Dave Campbell?s Texas Football had Western Hills picked for 5th place in District 6-4A behind Kennedale, Dunbar, Benbrook and Lake Worth but ahead of Castleberry and Diamond Hill.

Western Hills, who returned 9 starters on offense and 3 on defense this year, finished 4-6, 1-5 in 2018 after dropping from Class 5A to 4A.

Both the Wildcat offense and defense could be challenged this week with the explosive Cougar game. Western Hills is capable of putting lots of numbers on the scoreboard but does have trouble against established programs. Kennedale also has shown that big plays are a big part of their game.
