Gladys Lee Cottrell 1934 – 2014

Gladys Cottrell, 79, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday in Life Fellowship Church in Kennedale. Interment: Saturday in Birmingham, Ala.

Gladys was born on Nov. 22, 1934, in Birmingham, Ala. She was a woman of great faith, and a devoted mother and wife. Gladys was a member of Life Fellowship Church in Kennedale. She ministered to those in jail and nursing home services.

 

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, William Kenneth Cottrell Sr., and son, Bruce Randal.

 

Survivors: Sons, William Kenneth Cottrell Jr., Thomas Doyce Cottrell and John Keith Cottrell; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
