These reports were in addition to on-going investigations. These do not include calls where no report was written. Some of the offenses, after further investigation, may have been deemed unfounded.

 
Incident Reports
 

2/19 – Assault Family Violence (Bodily Injury) – At 11:20 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A husband and wife had been in a verbal altercation that the wife claimed became physical. The wife had no visible injuries or signs of an assault. The husband left the residence to spend the night elsewhere in order for the situation to calm itself.

2/19 – Assault Family Violence – At 7:30 p.m. officers received a report of an assault on a juvenile. A mother reported that her 8 year old daughter and she were at a cookout at a family member?s home. An adult cousin began playing with the child and at one point choked the child with her arm, leaving several red marks consistent with that type of assault. Photos were taken and the case is under further investigation.

2/20 – Abandoned Vehicle – 1200 block of N. Little School Road: At 3:08 a.m. an officer responded to a vehicle accident. On arrival the officer observed a 2008 Chevrolet truck in a parking lot. The truck had struck a tree and was unoccupied. The officer met with an Arlington police officer on scene who stated that he had been dispatched to the accident first and met with a hit and run victim out of Fort Worth. The Arlington officer reported that the abandoned truck had struck the victim in Fort Worth and left the scene. The victim followed the truck to the current location, where the driver crashed into the tree and fled on foot. There were several beer bottles in the truck, some unopened and some empty. The victim was referred to Fort Worth police for a hit and run report. The truck was impounded as abandoned.

2/21 – Theft $100 to $750 – 1200 block of N. Little School Road: At 12:45 a.m. a complainant reported that a known person came into his business and removed a Sony game system without paying. The suspect entered the store and asked the clerk about trading systems. The suspect provided information for the clerk to look up his account. During this time the suspect grabbed the system from behind the counter and ran to a vehicle, fleeing the scene. The offense was captured on video and the suspect?s information appeared to be authentic.

2/21 – Harassment – Municipal Drive: At 3:09 p.m. a female victim reported that her ex-boyfriend is harassing her via text, social media, and in person.

2/23 – Application for Mental Detention and Observation – At 8:15 p.m. officers responded to a report of a resident at a group home attempting to harm himself. The resident stated that he wanted to harm himself and had tried to do so twice that day. The resident, who has been handled before for the same type of behavior, was transported to a local private hospital for evaluation.

2/24 – Forgery – 700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 9:58 a.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown had passed several forged checks on a business account. It is unknown how the suspect(s) obtained the business account information.

2/24 – Vehicle Burglary – 1100 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:15 p.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown had broken the passenger side window of her Chevrolet Traverse. The suspect(s) removed a purse and contents from the seat. The vehicle was parked at the victim?s place of employment when the offense occurred during the day.

2/24 – Theft Under $100 – N. Dick Price Road: At 7:57 p.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) removed his prescription medications from his home.

2/24 – Credit/Debit Card Abuse – 1000 block of Estates Drive: At 7:45 p.m. a complainant reported that an unknown person accessed her employer?s business account to purchase a vehicle. The company owner confirmed that he did not authorize the purchase and did not know the purchaser.
