The Kennedale High School Team of Blake Bunnell, Cody Kovar and Tyler Ward competed in a 62 team ?virtual? computer meet last month and came out as one of the top two teams. {{more}}
The meet, with results posted on February 15, included teams from Class 1A to 6A and from across the state. Overall the KHS team finished 2nd just behind 6A Katy Seven Lakes. Other top 10 teams (not in order) were FtW Pascal, FtW Harmony Science Academy, Houston Cypress Ranch, Dallas Science/Engineering Magnet, Needville HS, Sulpur Springs HS, Mt Pleasant Chapel Hill and Waller HS.
In Class 4A, Kennedale beat out teams from Needville, Navasota, Andrews and Argyle to win first place in the division.
In the same week that the virtual meet results were posted, the CS team from Kennedale competed at Mansfield Legacy High School and finished third behind FtW Pascal and Lubbock. In the overall individual results Bunnell finished 3rd and Ward was in 11th place.
