The Kennedale LadyKats soccer team moved into the regional quarterfinals with a 2-1 win over Argyle last week. Argyle finished the season 12-11-0 and in second place in District 5-4A. Kennedale, winner of District 8-4A with a 6-0 record, has an overall record of 19-2-2. The Gainesvilles Lady Leopards, who received a bye in the first round of the playoffs, finished the regular season with a 10-11-1 record overall. They were 2-4 in district, good for third place behind Melissa and Argyle. Last week, the Leopards defeated North Hills Prep, champions from District 7-4A, in an upset victory 7-0.
The winner of this game will play this weekend in the regional playoffs at Kennedale. Girls
