The team of Bush & Harper (as in Riley Bush and Justin Harper) representing Kennedale High School were in action last week at the Texas High School Bass Association fishing tournament at Lake Whitney.? {{more: continue …}}

Bush & Riley have showed a steady improvement in each of the four tournaments that they have fished this year.?
- At Whitney this month they finished 2nd out of 148 team reporting catches with a catch weight of 18.16 (which was .1 from the winning weight) for a total points of 499.0.
- ?In November, they finished 9th out of 82 teams that qualified at Possum Kingdom with a catch that weight 8.51 lbs with a total points of 493.0.?
- In October at Lake Ray Roberts, they came in 14th out of 93 teams that qualified with a catch of 7.44 lbs and 486.0 points.?
- In September at Lake Lewisville, the pair finished 53rd out of 111 teams with a catch weighting 4.92 lbs.
Regionals are scheduled for April 14, 2018 at Lake Lewisville with the THSBA State Championships set for May 19-20 at Lake Sam Rayburn.

Bush & Harper were ranked in 10th place in the West Division prior to their 2nd place finish at Lake Whitney and now have moved into 7th place in their division.
