Kennedale beat #15 Burkburnett last night 82-72 in a quarter-final game in Decatur. {{more}}?? ? ?Abilene Wylie had an easier time with unranked Seminole, winning 53-32 Tuesday night. The other two teams to make the semi-finals are unranked Greenwood and #8 Wichita Falls Hirschi. They will face-off in an 8:30 match on Friday in Lubbock after Kennedale/Abilene Wylie game. The favorites to make the finals on Saturday at 1p.m. in Lubbock are the Wildcats and Hirschi.?? ? ?The Wildcats are following the footsteps of the Lady Kats basketball team who won last week in Lubbock and now are playing in Austin this week. This last happened once before in 2008 when the Wildcats and the Lady Kats both went to Austin. The Wildcats won a state title that year and the Lady Kats were state runner-ups. The Lady Kats will play Thursday at 3 pm at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin in a state semi-final game against Smithville.
