The Kennedale Police Department reported the following 8 incidents for the one week period July 21, 2019 through July 27, 2019. The reports included theft, vehicle burglary, criminal trespass, assault, theft of building material, possession and reckless damage. {{more: continue ?}}These reports and others were in addition to on-going investigations. Theft $500 to $750 – Kennedale New Hope Road: At 3:18 p.m. an officer received a report of a stolen cell phone. A juvenile female victim left her cell phone on the front deck of her home. The phone was taken by a known suspect who was present on the deck at that time. The suspect has refused to return the phone.7/22 ? Vehicle Burglary – North Road:? At 7:38 a.m. a victim reported that unknown suspect(s) entered the fenced property of a business to remove tools and copper coils from vehicles. The vehicles that were burglarized were left unsecured.7/24 ? Criminal Trespass – Mansfield Cardinal Road:? At 12:00 p.m. an officer received a report of a male violating a criminal trespass warning. The victim reported that she needed items for her grandchild that she was babysitting and asked her daughter (the baby?s mother) to bring the items. The daughter?s common-law husband brought the items instead. The male was not supposed to enter the property per the warning but was supposed to leave the items at the mailbox by the road. He entered the property to bring the items to the door in violation of the warning.7/25 ? Possession Control Substance – W. Kennedale Parkway:? At 12:46 a.m. an officer observed a vehicle with license plates that had arrest warrants assigned to it. Upon stopping the vehicle and interviewing the driver, the officer discovered a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. Also found in the vehicle were several grams of methamphetamine. The driver was arrested and transported to jail for booking.?7/25 ? Assault (Family Violence) – W. Kennedale Parkway:? At 7:58 p.m. a female victim met with an officer to report a domestic assault that occurred on 07-23-2019. The victim reported that the male suspect, her ex-boyfriend, assaulted her in Kennedale after earlier ramming into her vehicle. During the vehicle ramming incident, which occurred in Fort Worth, a three-year-old female was inside the victim?s vehicle. A report was also made to CPS.7/24 ? Reckless Damage or Destruction – Trent Street:? At 8:42 a.m. an officer received a report of an accident involving a vehicle striking a building. The damage was caused by a truck backing a trailer into a loading dock. The vehicle struck a corner of the building while backing. The vehicle is owned by a tenant of the building owner, who acknowledged the damage, and as such, this is a landlord/tenant dispute.7/27 ? Theft of Materials ALUM/BRNZ/COPPER/BRASS – North Road:? At 8:15 a.m. a victim reported that unknown person(s) removed several copper coils from his property. The theft occurred over a four day period.7/27 ? Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence) – At 8:46 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. On arrival, a female (victim) was observed in front of a residence flagging down the officer. A gray Kia was backing out of the driveway. The officer signaled for the Kia to stop but the driver attempted to drive away, almost striking the officer. The driver (suspect) finally stopped and exited the vehicle. The suspect was handcuffed for detention at that time. The suspect stated that she had gotten into an argument with the victim, who is her wife. The suspect admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the evening. The victim exhibited injuries consistent with the assault account. The suspect was arrested and transported to jail for booking.?Link: Kennedale Police Department ??
