The Kennedale Wildcats jumped out to an early lead on Diamond Hills and captured a 14-0 victory on Tuesday at Kennedale HS.

Nine runs in the first three innings allowed the Wildcats to put the game away early. A sacrifice fly by Brett Taylor, a passed ball, a two-run double by Austin Hunt, an RBI single by Austin Eggleston, and an RBI double by Chayce Coltharp in the first inning {{more}}and an RBI single by Josh Taylor and an RBI triple by Jay Thomas during the second inning helped the Wildcats put some runs on the board early.

Josh Taylor boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace Kennedale.

The Wildcats’?Brett Taylor kept Diamond Hills off the scoreboard for all five innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out three.
