It started on April 5 when the Lady Kats felled to Alvarado 3-2. In that game Howard went 2 for 3 with scoring one run. But, it was the next game against Midlothian Heritage on April 8 that her bat really came alive. She hit for the cycle when she went for 4 for 4 at the plate getting a single, a double, a triple and a homerun.

}} doubled in the first inning, homered in the third inning, singled in the third inning, and tripled in the fourth inning.

Currently, Kennedale is in 3rd place two game behind Godley and Alvarado who are tied for 1st place at 6-1 in district play while the Lady Kats are at 5-2, but it is complicated. Kennedale owns a win and a loss vs Alvarado. Alvarado has a win over Godley while Godley has a win over Kennedale.
Tonight Godley and Alvarado face off for their second round game. Kennedale gets a second chance at Godley this Friday night. It could be settled by then or it could be a 3 way tie and still up in the air.

The Kats have three road game left before the regular season ends next Tuesday at Venus.
