Kennedale is currently 3-0. In a weather-shorten LadyKat Regional Cup tournament last week, the Kats only got in two games defeating Athens 7-1 and #9 Mabank 2-0. This week they are playing in the Boerne Hill Country Shoot-Out which has top teams participating. Yesterday, they opened play with a 2-0 win over #7 Boerne, defeated 6A San Antonio MacArthur (last year’s 6A semifinalist) 2-0 and will play #5 Salado later.

Kennedale will follow up this tournament by playing #10 Argyle, Melissa and then #2 Abilene Wylie. Before district play Kennedale will have played 5 of the TGCA top ten teams in Class 4A
