The Lady Kats scoring opportunity came in the bottom of the 6th when first batter up, Allison Smith, walked. After a Kennedale ground-out, Alyssa Bradberry singled to right field moving Smith into scoring position at 3rd and Bradberry to second on a throw by Springtown. Lady Kat Elisabeth Mikinzie followed with a sacrifice fly that scored Smith and moved Braderry to third. But that would be all the Kats could muster before getting their last out on a grounder.
