The Kats, currently in 3rd place will take on second place Springtown (9-9, 5-1) next Tuesday at Springtown beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the goal of climbing back to the top.

Tuesday, March 20 Diamond Hill-Jarvis (W) 13-3?
- Kennedale out hit Diamond Hill 10-2 in their 13-3 win scoring 2 runs in the 1st, 4 in the 2nd, 6 in the 4th and 1 in the 4th. The game was called in the 5th after Diamond Hill who had scored 3 in the 4th scored none in the top of the inning and the 10 run rule was activated.
- Lady Kat Allie Hopper earned this two hit win by pitching 5 innings, facing 19 batters, throwing 49 strikes in 70 pitches (.700), striking out 7, walked one, allowing 2 hits and three runs.
- Seven Kats had hits with Alyssa Bayberry going 2-3 at the plate getting 2 RBIs, 1 walk and 2 runs. Jenna Webb was 3-4 with 1 RBI and 3 runs. Others include Alyssa Phillips 1-2, 2 RBIs, 2 walks and 1 run; Hope Regalado -1-3, 2 RBIs; Megan Calhoun 1-3, 1 RBIs, 1 walk, 1 run; Daijia Pugh 1-2, 1 run; and, Allison Smith 1-1, 2 runs.
Monday, March 26 Lake Worth (W) 17-0?
- The game was moved up to Monday from Tuesday as the threat of bad weather was projected. But it didn?t affect the play of Kennedale as they had 17 runs on 15 hits while limiting Lake Worth to just 2 hits with no runs.
- Kennedale scored 2 runs in the first, 6 in the 2nd and 9 in the 4th. After Lake Worth was unable to put any runs across the plate in the bottom of the 4th, the game was called.
- Lady Kat pitcher Megan Calhoun got the shutout. Calhoun faced just 14 batters throwing 38 strikes on 55 pitches (.691), striking 9, walking none allowing 2 hits.
- Two players homered in the game including Alyssa Bradberry who went 4-4 at the plate with 4 RBIs and 1 run and Mary Grace Howard 2-4, 2 RBIs, 1 double and 1 run scored. Bradberry almost hit the cycle with singles in the 1st and 2nd and a double and a homerun in the fourth.
