Hector Contreras is the Golden Gloves winner in the junior novice 70 pound class for 11-12 year-old. He competed in the Fort Worth Regional Golden Gloves tournament in the John Justin Arena at Will Rogers Memorial Center on Thursday, February 21, 2013.

Hector is a student at James Arthur Elementary School in Kennedale.
