Several weeks ago someone broke into Wallace’s home and stole his desktop computer and laptop. Wallace operates a t-shirt logo business, Ink Well Screen Printing in Kennedale.

?Our lifeline is that computer. That is my t-shirt business. That is everything,? Wallace told Channel 11 CBS News.

After making a report to the Kennedale Police and with the help of camera footage from a business across the street, Wallace was able to piece together what had happened and who he needed to be looking for.

Figuring that he could help the police out with this, he started his own hunt for the thief. Correctly surmising that the thief would try to dispose of the stolen items immediately, he headed to the nearest flea market.

Sure enough the thief?s car was spotted and the missing computer equipment was located. Police were called and a warrant was issued for the individual.

With a big smile Wallace turned to the camera and said, ?Call Deputy Phil and I will be on it.?

Learn how he did it by watching the CBS 11 video below.
