The University of Texas at Arlington has announced students scholarship recipients for the 2017-18 academic year. Seven are from Kennedale. {{more: read more … }}
The seven students represent Kennedale High School and several other private schools in the area.
The students who were awarded the scholarships are:
- Zachary Berry, Presidential Scholar
- Shawn Dow, Maverick Academic Scholarship
- Jacob Mahjoub, Maverick Academic Scholarship
- Sydney Michener, Maverick Academic Scholarship
- Deanna Thomson, Maverick Academic Scholarship
- Marissa Vinson, Maverick Academic Scholarship
- Kaci Wright, Maverick Academic Scholarship
The students join the largest and most academically accomplished incoming freshman class in UTA’s history.
