The First Methodist Church of Kennedale’s annual Lord?s Acre celebration will be held this Saturday, October 1, 2016 on the church grounds at 229 W 4th Street in Kennedale. {{more:Read more …}}
It is a family friendly event open to everyone. No cost to attend but money raised through the cake walk and other activities will be used to support the Church outreach programs.
It will be great weather with temperature forecast to be in the low 80, sunny and mild with low humidity.
Festivities start at 10 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m. with all kinds of activities. For the kids there will be games, prizes and bounce houses. There will be a food court, so don?t worry about getting your lunch somewhere else. The Country Store and the Sweet Shop are back. There will be live entertainment and of course the live auction will offer a variety of unique items include home-stitched quilts.
