Lorene Martin 1917 – 2015

 

 

Lorene Martin, 98, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015. The service was held Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home with burial in Emerald Hills Memorial Park. {{more}}

 

Lorene was born in Copperas Cove on Jan. 27, 1917, the daughter of William Howard Moseley and Effie Krempine Moseley. She married J.H. “Spud” Martin on Sept.1, 1945. Lorene owned Martin’s Beauty Shop in Kennedale 37 years.

 

Survivors: Daughters, Jerrene Sanders and husband, Eddie, and Cylinda Singleton and husband, David; grandchildren, Matthew Sanders, Hollee Reed and husband, Josh, and Keitha Bennett and husband, Jason; great-grandchildren, Addyson and Roxton Reed, Finlee Bennett; several nieces and nephews.
