Dr. Karen Furman retiring after 20 years in KISD
- Dr. Karen Furman, Deputy Superintendent hired in 1995
- Pam Gardner, James Arthur 5th Grade teacher hired in 1987
- Brenda West, James Arthur 6th grade teacher hired in 1985
- Oma McLaughlin, James Arthur 6th Grade teacher hired in 1981
There were also seven end of year resignations.
- Amy Reynolds, James Delaney Elementary Pre K eacher
- Nena Johnson, RF Patterson Elementary 2nd Grade teacher
- Lisa Griffin, James Arthur Intermediate Music teacher
- Steven Davidson, Kennedale Junior High Special Ed teacher
- Jennifer Cook, Kennedale High Math teacher
- Dimitri Higginbotham, Kennedale High Assistant Band Director (Percussion)
- Nicole Parker, Kennedale High CTE Business teacher
