09/12 ? Criminal Trespass ? 3800 block of Kennedale New Hope Road: At 3:05 a.m. officers observed a silver Dodge Ram truck parked at a locked gate for Texas Raceway. A short time later, officers discovered a male on the property inside of the locked fence. The male stated that he was looking for money under the bleachers. The track owner could not be contacted for purposes of prosecution approval so the male was released pending further investigation.

 

09/13 ? Vehicle Fire ? 700 block of W. Kennedale Parkway: At 2:25 a.m. an officer observed a white Chevrolet truck on fire in a business parking lot. The fire spread to a neighboring Chevrolet SUV before the arrival of the fire department. The fires were extinguished and an attempt was made to contact the business owner, who didn?t answer the phone. The vehicles were left at the scene as the firefighters did not believe arson to be the cause of the blaze.

 
09/13 ? Burglary ? 700 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 3:15 p.m. a victim reported that his business was burglarized sometime in the past week. Person(s) unknown entered a building where the victim is putting in a new business and removed an auto parts washer valued at $2,500. The suspect(s) gained entry by unscrewing the sheet metal outer wall. A shop door was forced open from the inside to facilitate the removal of the machine. Damage to the building was estimated at $2,000.
 
09/15 ? Possession of Drug Paraphernalia ? 1000 block of E. Kennedale Parkway: At 11:41 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding. During the officer?s initial contact with the female driver, a male passenger jumped from the vehicle and ran away on foot. Officers were unable to locate the male and regain custody due to the darkness. The driver and another female passenger were interviewed about the male?s identity and why he ran away. The driver had marijuana in her possession and methamphetamine was found in the passenger side of the console. The driver was arrested and transported to jail for booking. The narcotics were entered into evidence.
 
09/15 ? Burglary ? 200 block of Village Street: At 8:31 a.m. a city employee reported that the KYA concession stand was burglarized by person(s) unknown. All of the food and drinks stored in the building were removed. The cost of the missing items was placed at $300.
 
09/16 ? Assault (Bodily Injury) ? 6800 block of Oak Crest Drive: At 3:19 p.m. officers responded to a report of an assault. Officers met with the victim, an adult male, who stated that he had been assaulted by a co-worker. The victim and the suspect were in a verbal alteration over damage to a company vehicle when the suspect assaulted the victim, causing a laceration under one eye. The suspect later used a vehicle in an attempt to run over the victim. The suspect then exited the vehicle and charged the victim while brandishing a baseball bat. A co-worker broke up the altercation at that point. The suspect was taken into custody for assault and transported to jail for booking.
 
09/16 ? Recovered Stolen Vehicle ? 600 block of Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 11:41 a.m. an officer responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle, a black Hyundai, was parked behind some trees off of the roadway. A check of the Alabama license plate revealed it was reported stolen out of Arlington. The vehicle was impounded to hold for APD.
 
09/16 ? Theft /Recovered Stolen Vehicle ? 900 block of Wildcat Way: At 10:03 p.m. a female victim reported that her vehicle, a 2003 Saab 4 dr., was stolen from the high school parking lot. The vehicle was later recovered abandoned in the 900 block of Harrison Drive.
 
09/17 ? Criminal Mischief $100 to $750 ? Parkview Trail: At 8:50 a.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown damaged his 2014 Dodge Journey by breaking out the rear window. Damage was estimated at $300. The vehicle was parked in the driveway and the damage occurred during the overnight hours.
 
9/18 ? Vehicle Burglary – 200 block S. Dick Price Road: At 4:00 p.m. a victim reported that her Dodge SUV was broken into at Sonora Park. Items taken included two purses, cell phones, cash, and credit cards. Entry was made by breaking out the driver side window.
 
9/19 – Burglary – 1000 block N. Little School Road: At 10:32 a complainant reported that a construction trailer was broken into overnight. Person(s) unknown broke out a window on the office trailer and removed keys to the building site and a weed eater.
 
9/19 – Theft $2,500 to $30,000 – 1000 block Swiney Hiett Road: At 10:55 p.m. officers were dispatched to a report of an air conditioner theft. Several males were witnessed leaving a construction area with at least two air conditioner compressor units in the bed. The vehicle used was an older model Chevrolet truck with ?Chevrolet? across the tailgate. The suspects removed the units by cutting the wiring.
 
9/20 ? Theft $750 to $2,500 – 200 block Chateau Avenue: At 2:23 p.m. a complainant reported that an air conditioner unit was stolen from a home under construction. The unit was taken over the week end. A second unit next to the missing one was not taken but the wiring had been cut as though the suspect(s) had intended to take it.
 
9/20 ? Vehicle Burglary – Woodland Court: At 12:15 p.m. a victim reported that his work van had been entered during the overnight hours. The victim reported that the vehicle was locked but no forced entry was observed. Suspect(s) took several thousand dollars in tools.
 
9/21 – Possession Control Substance – 4400 block S. Dick Price Road: At 1:02 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver and passenger were both female. The driver showed to have an active arrest warrant from another city. During a consent search of the vehicle, the officer located a substance believed to be methamphetamine in the driver side floor board under the mat. The female was arrested and transported to jail for booking.
 
9/22 – Assault by Contact – 200 block W. Mistletoe Drive: At 9:26 p.m. officers responded to a fight in progress. On arrival, contact was made with two males. They were repairing an air conditioner unit at a home when an argument broke out between them. One of the males assaulted the other but did not cause injury. The suspect was issued a citation for the assault and was released at the scene.
 
9/22 – Possession Control Substance – 1200 block W. Kennedale Parkway: At 11:04 p.m. officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male. On arrival the male was located and was in fact under the influence of some type of substance. In the male?s pants pocket was substance that tested positive for methamphetamine. He was arrested and transported to jail for booking.
 
9/24 – Possession Drug Paraphernalia – 1200 block W. Kennedale Parkway: An officer observed a male asleep in a vehicle while parked. The male was awakened by the officer, who interviewed him for his physical welfare and for intoxication. The officer observed two methamphetamine pipes inside the vehicle in plain view. No narcotics were located, and the occupant was cited and released for the pipes.
 
9/24 – Assault (Bodily Injury) – 900 block Corry A. Edwards Drive: At 4:34 p.m. an officer took a report of an assault. An adult female reported that her 12 year old daughter was assaulted by another female student while at a junior high school dance on the previous night. The suspect had to be physically pulled off of the victim by an adult at the event. Several other students witnessed the assault. The victim did have injuries consistent with her story.
