? ? We both ordered The Roadhouse Burger ($10) with fries. I have to note that my boyfriend is the food critic between us, so the true test would be satisfying his taste buds. The food was delivered quickly, and as far as burgers go it looked delicious. The generously sized patty was dressed with applewood smoked bacon, melted sharp cheddar cheese and barbecue sauce. Now I do not eat burgers often, but upon the first bite it was easily one of the best i’d ever had. But what did Andy, the food connoisseur, have to say after he finished he first bite?
? ? “Sweet tasting bun, charred juicy meat patty with all the delicious fixings.”
It was a winner! He enjoyed each bite with a smile on his face, and I knew Red’s Roadhouse was an A+ before we even finished.
? ? After we ate we ventured outside to outdoor bar and patio to have a drink and enjoy the music. We were even lucky enough to chat with owner, Adlai Pennington. He was happy to talk with us several times throughout the night as he made his rounds visiting Red’s patrons. It was refreshing to see the owner eager to get to know his customer’s. It was the cherry on top of a great night.
? ? Overall, the Red’s Roadhouse experience was awesome. I sincerely have no complaints from the food to the service. More notably, my boyfriend left Red’s full and satisfied, and for a weight lifter with an appetite that is very impressive. I would recommend Red’s Roadhouse to anyone, but especially those who love good music and even better food.
? ? Red’s Roadhouse is the newest and first restaurant of it’s kind in Kennedale, Tx. Advertised as a Texas concert venue and restaurant it attracts music and food lovers alike from miles around. The restaurant offers a vintage feel with its classic cars on display around the dining area, and wood framed 30 ft bar. But the real spectacle is the beautifully lit outside patio with an additional 30 ft bar, and large concert stage complimented by an even larger dance floor. It is certainly a unique addition to Kennedale, and as a long-time resident I couldn’t wait to see if Red’s could live up to it’s hype. {{more}}
? ?My boyfriend, Andy, and I went for dinner on a Saturday night around 6 pm. We were kindly greeted, and taken to a table promptly. Our server, Micheal, introduced himself with a smile and was attentive throughout our dinner. As someone who has worked in the restaurant business I take notice of a server’s performance, and he was fabulous! I was incredibly impressed with the entire wait staff.?
