Ron was born on April 17, 1933 in Barnum, West Virginia to George Harrison Bray and Gadys Myrel Warnick Bray. Ron spent 26 years of his life serving his country in the military. Six of those years were in the Army and 20+ years in the Air Force. He served three tours in Vietnam during his service in the Air Force. Ron saw more of this world than most of us could ever imagine.

He married Norma Jean Moore on May 25, 1991 in Richardson, Texas. First Baptist Church of Kennedale has been his and Norma’s church family for the past 13 years. Ron loved fishing, hunting and sitting around telling stories of his life growing up and about his extensive travels, but most of all he loved God and his family dearly. He was an easy person to know and made friends easily. He will be missed more than words can say.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a sister, and his first wife.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 25 years, Norma Bray, one sister, Beatrice “Tag” Paugh, one brother, Darius “Moe” Bray, three daughters and their husbands: Debbie and Dwight Jaynes, Rhonda and Jay Rachel, Angela and Don Davis, one son, Andy Mentlik, five grandchildren: Chris, Candice, Kealy, Kyle and Sarah, four great-grandchildren: Keenan, Lance, Hailee and Tristyn, many nephews and nieces, and many loving friends.
